Not Even Started and Already Changing
Change is a constant companion in my creative journey, and here I am again, pivoting before I've even had the chance to settle in. Recently, I made the decision to take all the T-shirts out of my shop. Yes, you read that right—they're gone! While they seemed like a great idea at the beginning, I realized that my heart wasn't truly in them. Instead, I've decided to focus entirely on stationery, books, and fabric accessories designed for book and notebook lovers like me.
If you know me, this won't come as a surprise. Overthinking and making overly ambitious plans are practically my trademarks. I start with grand visions that encompass everything under the sun—and then reality sets in. As much as I’d love to do it all, it’s just not possible. And more importantly, it’s not what truly brings me joy.
When I first envisioned my shop, I imagined it as a space filled with handmade and print-on-demand treasures that reflected all my creative passions. But the deeper I dived into planning and designing, the more I felt pulled toward a specific niche: the world of bookbinding, notebooks, and beautiful fabric accessories for readers and writers. These are the things that light me up, and they’re also the areas where I can pour in the most love and detail.
T-shirts, as fun as they are, simply didn’t fit into this vision. They started to feel like an afterthought—something I was offering just because I could, not because I wanted to. And I don’t want to build a shop based on "why nots." I want every item to feel intentional, purposeful, and connected to my love for books and creativity.
This decision to narrow my focus is both freeing and exciting. It gives me room to truly hone in on what matters most. My goal is to create a shop that celebrates the joy of journaling, reading, and crafting, with products that bring a little extra beauty and inspiration to those everyday moments.
If you’ve ever found yourself adjusting your plans or rethinking your goals, know that you’re not alone. It’s all part of the journey—one step at a time, one adjustment at a time. And sometimes, those adjustments lead us closer to where we were meant to be all along.
So here’s to stationery, books, and fabric accessories—and to the beauty of changing course before you even begin.
